At Vedabyte, we specialize in enterprise-grade hardware designed to last. To ensure your investment is protected, every laptop sold through our platform is backed by a comprehensive 1-year hardware warranty.

1. Warranty Duration

  • Hardware: 1-Year Limited Hardware Warranty from the date of delivery.

  • Consumables (Battery,Charger and Power cable): 90-Day replacement warranty.

2. The “90-Day Gold Period” (Zero Cost)

For the first 90 days of your ownership, Vedabyte covers the full cost of service logistics.

  • Free Pan-India Pickup & Drop: If a hardware defect is confirmed, we arrange a courier pickup from your doorstep and deliver the repaired unit back at zero cost to you.

  • Local Walk-in: Customers in Nagpur can visit our studio for priority “Express Service.”

3. The Shared-Care Phase (Day 91 to 365)

  • To keep our high-quality refurbished tech affordable, we move to a shared logistics model after the first 90 days:

    • Logistics Split: Vedabyte will arrange the pickup via our national partners (Delhivery/BlueDart). The total shipping cost (Pickup + Return) will be split 50/50 between the customer and Vedabyte.

    • Dispatch Trigger: Once the repair is completed, the customer’s 50% share of the shipping fee is billed. The device is dispatched immediately upon payment.

4. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

  • Repair Timeline: We aim to complete all repairs within 3 to 7 working days once the device reaches our Nagpur Service Center.

  • Remote Triage: 40% of issues are resolved via WhatsApp video call diagnostics, saving you the time of shipping.

5. What is Covered

    • Internal Circuitry: Motherboard, CPU, Power ICs.

    • Storage & Memory: SSD and RAM failures.

    • Display: Technical failures (flickering or dead pixels) not caused by external pressure.

6. What is Not Covered (Exclusions)

    • Physical & Liquid Damage: Any signs of drops, spills, or cracked components.

    • Software: Operating System (OS) corruption, virus attacks, or third-party software issues.

    • Seal Tampering: If the Vedabyte Warranty Sticker is broken, removed, or tampered with, the warranty is void.

    • Data Loss: We are not responsible for your data. Please back up your files before sending the device for service.

7. How to Initiate a Claim

  1. WhatsApp Us: Send your Order ID and a short video of the problem to +91-9922586403.

  2. Remote Check: Our engineers will troubleshoot with you live.

  3. Logistics: If a repair is needed, we will provide you with a shipping label or schedule a pickup.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution: These policies and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to the use of this website, purchase of products (including refurbished laptops), or warranty services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. By using this website or purchasing our products, you hereby waive any objection to the laying of venue in such courts.
